The Fulton’s family has been tapping majestic sugar maples on their farm near Pakenham, Ontario farm since the 1840s. For over 6 generations, guests have experienced Fulton’s Organic Maple Syrup, Maple Gourmet and Maple Luscious Bath & Body products – all made on site, in small batches by a dedicated team that owner, Shirley Fulton-Deugo, refers to as “Team Awesome”. During the annual maple season (mid-February to mid-April – see fultons.ca for dates), they are open daily 10 am – 3 pm & weekends 10 am – 4 pm. The 400-acre backyard has over 8km of wide, groomed trails for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking. On the weekends, you can enjoy an old fashioned horse-drawn sleigh ride, cozy campfires and maple taffy. The open space in their mixed forest allows visitors of all ages to enjoy natural surroundings at any pace…sometimes it is the slowest adventurer who catches sight of the birds, or the tracks that animals have left behind!
Maple themed snacks and refreshments are available for purchase during the 8-week maple season. Don’t miss the newly expanded Maple Shop. They have all your favourite maple treats and so much more. They recently introduced their Guided Maple Tour (pre-book always recommended).
Tempt your taste buds at the Tasting Bar. Choose from a rotating assortment of maple tarts, muffins, granola bars and more at the Grab ‘n Go station. Weekends enjoy a yummy hot option as well. Please note there is no indoor seating. All food is ready to take outdoors at the picnic tables and on the trails.
Should you arrive during the off season (mid-April to mid-February), you will find the Maple Shop open for in-store shopping or curbside pickup on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10 am – 3 pm. Online shopping (https://shop.fultons.ca/collections) is always available.
