About Carleton Place Information Centre

Explore Carleton Place and make your first stop the Carleton Place Information Centre. The centre has a prime location downtown in the historic Moore House, a stunning log building constructed in 1873 that was moved to its current location in 2007. Information Centre staff can provide information on local history and heritage, recreation and leisure activities, museums, walking trails, dining and so much more. The Information Centre is your one stop shop when planning your day in Carleton Place.

If you’re looking for a unique gift item to remember your visit, the Information Centre gift shop has a wide selection of unique gift items including locally branded souvenirs, local food items, Lanark County Maple Syrup, books, artisan crafts and Canadiana.

The Information Centre is also home to the Roy Brown Exhibit. We encourage you to come in for a visit and learn more about our local World War One flying ace.
